Solidarity gathering

Campaign to collect assets to support families victims of the fires.

I.S.I.– Injected Soles Industry, last week, organized a campaign to collect assets to support families victims of the fires of last October. Under the guidance of the Municipality of Seia we have collected goods of first necessity, namely non-perishable food, clothing, footwear, cleaning products, cloths, etc.

The Campaign was widely accepted by employees and friends of the company, and joined the initiative the mortards from Lixa. About 800KG of goods were collected and later delivered by Luís Mendes, who was representing I.S.I. personally to the families and to the Volunteer Firefighters of Seia. Vítor Mendes, Manager of I.S.I. mentioned that "all employees of I.S.I. were very sensitive to the tragedy resulting from the fires that attacked the center of the country" and also, that this solidarity initiative intended to be "a small help to all victims who lost their property and life projects."
